Then, you add your target keywords. Semrush uses these keywords to find relevant backlink opportunities from sites already ranking or associated with your chosen terms.

In this step, you add your competitors’ domains—these are the websites you want to outperform. Semrush uses this information to analyze your competitors' backlinks and identify high-value link opportunities from sites already linking to them.
